Partenklamm

We were going to go up to Zugspitze, which is the tallest mountain in Germany but it was very overcast and so we went to Partenklamm instead.  Basically it is gorges that are carved by nature and we walked through on paths.  It took a little while to get to the gorges but the surroundings were beautiful.IMG_3505The walk was really pretty.IMG_3510

If you go on vacation, you have to find running water!  Another of our stops.  Daddy was having an issue with all of the walking.  Enjoyed all of the waterfalls and greenery.

The beginning of the gorges.  We had a path that we walked through and it kept dropping water on our heads!

IMG_3530 When we started our walk there was an older Nun walking with us.  They still wear the traditional habits and I worried about her walking along the path.  I shouldn’t have.  When we got to the other side, she was sitting on a bench reading her scriptures.  I thought it was kind of amusing.

As you can see it was rather cold.  We had finished the walk through the gorges and climbed down to where the creek was.

Hello!  We had a great time exploring the area.

The absolutely necessary wild flower pictures.  All of the roads were covered with different wild flowers.  God has given us such a wonderful and beautiful earth.IMG_3549  On our walk back.  I couldn’t resist a lone barn beside the road.

Tomorrow – Prague.
